In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the “Praise” hitmaker revealed that he had no plans to attend the university because his passion has always been to venture into music right after he completed the secondary education.

Fameye revealed that his aunty and uncle planned on helping him to further his education at the university but he didn’t want to encounter financial difficulties at the university because he was going through hard times when he was in the senior high school.

“My aunty was willing to take me to the university but I didn’t have the plan to attend the university, I wanted to do music right after shs and figure myself out”, he said.

“Even though my aunty and my uncle had this thought of taking me to the university, I didn’t want to go and hustle in the university. I didn’t want a situation where I will struggle to take care of myself at the university because I was facing that problem when I was in SHS”, he added.

He further stated that his decision not to attend the university was not because he was block-headed but because he wanted to focus solely on his music career.
