Here in Ghana, Artistes Signing their fellow Artistes under them is the new eish. Almost of all our top Artistes have signed artistes under their management. How well is this new culture doing?

Hiphop act, EL on Zylofon FM has disclosed that he doesn’t believe that Artistes Signing their fellow Artistes under them is a good thing. According to EL, it stifles the creativity of the artiste that has been signed.

When asked why he didn’t sign DopeNation under his management, he said,

“Yes, I don’t believe in Artistes Signing their fellow Artistes under them. It stifles the creativity of the artiste that has been signed and put unnecessary pressure on the Artiste that signed his fellow artiste too”

“Creatives should have the freedom to operate, when you are signed under someone, they would give you timeline; you have to release this number of albums under so-so and so year, you have to do this, you have to do that, and if you sign artiste under you, you would also go through pressure from the Public, ‘oo why is it that this artiste you signed under you isn’t blowing, and more.’
