Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata has revealed that due to the fact that he lacks the resources to promote his music to the world, he works harder on his lyrics just so the songs can push themselves to the top.

He told Kwadwo Sheldon on the “Convo With The Head” segment that the power in his lyrics has been the secret behind his mind-blowing success in the music industry since he lacks the funds to embark on promotional plans as an independent artiste.
He stated that he records his songs to make sure people will automatically love the songs without him necessarily tipping them off or contracting a DJ to play the songs for him.
“When I realized that I cannot embark on promotional plans with money like my colleagues, so we decided that I make the song a better one to the extent that someone will play the song without me necessarily tipping him or her off”,
Speaking about his woes of being an independent artiste, Kofi Kinaata stated he has realized that Ghanaians have much love for him and his music to the extent that anyone who spills ill words about him will not have it easy with his fans even though he doesn’t know any of them.
However, he also revealed that he would sign to a record label only of the deal is favorable and convenient for him.
