Recently, dancehall artist Shatta Wale went live on his Facebook page to lambast social media users who have been comparing him to young artist Black Sherif. According to Black Sherif, most people do that intentionally.

Blacko said that people who normally compare him to his senior colleagues only do that for retweets and likes on Twitter and not because they love the music industry. “I respect everyone’s work and can’t compare myself with bigger names”.

Black Sherif is of the opinion that those who compare artists only do that for themselves and not for the game. “If you respect the game, you won’t do that”, he added.
