According to Kwame Yogot, that was his first hit song featuring a big artist like Castro. He claims that the song went viral to the extent that the NDC used the song for campaigning during an election but it never occurred to anyone that he was the composer of the tune.

However, he revealed during an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show that he is not bothered about the fact that the NDC never sought his permission before using the song because he was happy that the song became an instant hit in the country, and thanks to the NDC, others also enjoyed and liked the masterpiece.

He said that it has been a norm for political parties and other establishments to use the intellectual properties of musicians without their consent so he is not bothered either is he willing to press any charges against them.

As a reminder, Kwame Yogot is a Ghanaian rapper whose hit songs “Bitter Sweet” with Ponobiom and “Biibi Besi” with Kuami Eugene have made him recognizable.
