Contemporary Ghanaian Afro-Highlife crooner, Eugene Kwame Marfo, widely known as Kuami Eugene has revealed that he deliberately had to hold on releasing some of his projects in order to embark on some features for some of his colleagues in the music industry.

The sensational Lynx Entertainment signed musician revealed in an interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM that he had to focus on works submitted by some of his colleagues like Kwame Yogot, Captain Planet, Sista Afia, and Lasmid among others.

“I think I did that a year or two ago. I actually had to hold on to my works for a while. I did features from Asuoden with Sista Afia. Biibi Besi with Captain Planet, Kwame Yogot, Yeeko with Okyeame Kwame, Sika remix with Lasmid, No Dulling with Keche, and many more”,

he said.

Kuami Eugene also stated that most of these songs he featured with some of his colleagues happened to be nationwide hits and his intentions are always borne out of a simple gesture of doing good features for his colleagues.

“Sometimes I just hold on and do stuff for others not with the mindset of giving them hit songs but the mindset of features but I thank God almost all features turn out to be hit songs”, h added.

Kuami Eugene is currently on a promotional tour to promote his latest single “Take Away” as he prepares to release his next EP dubbed “Rags To Riches”.
