Ghanaian actress and socialite, Rosemond Alade Brown, well known as Akuapem Poloo has revealed that it has always been her desire to convert to the Islamic religion.

Speaking in an interview on the Daybreak Hitz morning segment with Andy Dosty, Akuapem Poloo revealed that her sudden decision to convert to Islam was not for fu because she has always wanted to be a Muslim.
She said that most of her friends are Muslims and probably that influenced her decision to also convert to the religion given the nature and how benevolent they have been to her.
“I have always wanted to be a Muslim. Most of my friends are Muslims and they have been so good to me“, she said.
Akuapem Poloo also revealed that the father of her son is a Christian but he was never the reason for her decision to convert to Islam.
“Although the father of my child is half Ga and half Christian, he is not the reason I became a Muslim
In other news, Ghanaian media personality, Serwaa Amihere has finally confirmed that she’s expecting her first child.
This was after a fan inquired from her if rumors circulating on social media about her pregnancy is true. Serwaa Amihere who wanted to get people off her back following her alleged pregnancy confirmed that she is expecting a child.
It would also be recalled that a video trended on social media which had Serwaa Amihere belly protruding in her dress and many suggested that he is expecting her first child. This was noticed when she was launching her new clothing line.
Well, a social media user who wanted to have an insight of the rumors reached out to her on social media, inquiring if indeed she is pregnant.
In a swift response, Serwaa Amihere without hesitation confirmed the she is indeed expecting a child for a mysterious man.
