After he was unable to win the Artiste of the year award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), some of his fans took to social media to mock him with his popular catchphrase “I will be back”.

Just after Diana Hamilton was announced as the winner in that category, some Ghanaians who just couldn’t handle things as cool as possible edited some images of Kidi with his phrase “I will be back”.
Speaking on Hitz FM on the Daybreak Hitz show with Andy Dosty, Kidi said that he has joined the trolls on social media to mock him after he lost to Diana Hamilton.
According to him, there is always something for people to make fun of after the show and unfortunately, he happened to be the scapegoat this time around.
Unlike some artistes who would keep quiet or probably react with anger to the trolls on social media, Kidi was seen posting some of the memes on his social media page just to make it more fun.
