Gospel singer and preacher, Dr. Sonnie Badu has tendered an unqualified apology to musicians Medikal and Sister Derby over a comment he made about Sister Derby’s new lover on social media.
Sister Derby and her fiance, David caused a stir after they stormed the art exhibition organized by popular photographers “Twins Don’t Beg” over the weekend looking loved up like a married couple.
A debate sparked on social media after photos and videos of them emerged as some compared Sister’s Derby’s new husband to his ex-boyfriend, Medikal.
Joining the fray, the General overseer of the Rock Hill Chapel, Pastor Sonnie Badu also asserted that Sister Derby’s new lover looks like Medikal.
This did not augur well with Sister Derby and she publicly registered her displeasure.
Sonnie Badu who is based in the United States has come out to apologize to Sister Derby and Medikal emphasising that he did not mean any form of harm with his post.
