Ghanaian entrepreneur, socialite, and now actress, Michelle Diamond Gbagonah has stated that she now sells ‘authentic Ghanaian Jollof’ at church.

The former girlfriend of Shatta Wale with whom she has a child called Majesty mentioned this in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM adding that she’s not a churchgoer but rather goes to church to ply her trade as a businesswoman.

Affectionately called Shatta Michy, Diamond said she’s not a religious but a spiritual person. In her words;

I go to church once in a while. I go there to do business. I sell Jollof, so where there are people, I see consumers of my food. If I come to your church and I offer you lunch, know that the next thing is cooking a buffet for you.

I am a spiritual person and not religious. I sometimes pay my tithe to the church and sometimes to people who actually need it. I pray a lot; every gospel song makes me cry. I have the connection with my God and I feel like my prayers are answered so fast for me.

Michy was in the news recently when he praised Nigerian artist Jumabee for the sacrifice he made just to ensure he gives her a priceless verse for their yet-to-be-released collaborative project.

Michy further stated that the love she has for Nigerians was reinforced premised on what Jumabee did for her while expressing her gratitude to him for his input despite the seeming inconvenience as she was scheduled to leave for Nigeria within that period.

She shared a photo of Jumabee and herself alongside the caption;

Thee talented gentle giant @jumabee 💙 Man stayed up till 6am just to make sure he recorded a banger with me on the day of his departure😩 when I say I love Nigerians, u won’t understand, the energy & positive vibes. @jumabee thanks for tapping into a voice I never knew I had & patronizing my mums hotel as well💕💕💕💕
