Ghanian musician and pastor Cwesi Oteng has said he was the one who paved the way for other musicians like Joe Mettle, MOG and other urban gospel Artists.
Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix on his uncut show, Cwesi Oteng says he believes most of the gospel musicians are making it due to the efforts he put in the music industry. He believes his efforts opened the door for other talents.

Pastor Hermon Cyrus Kwesi Nhyira Oteng as he’s originally called added that he has been a great force behind the music industry hence the growth of the industry. He recounted that he was the only new age Gospel musician at the time he released ”God Dey Bless Me”.
