Illustrious Ghanaian Highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, widely known as Daddy Lumba or DL has narrated how he was abandoned by his sole-called loved ones at his darkest hours a few years back.

In an interview, the veteran highlife crooner revealed that he was struck down by a terrible disease which kept him indoors for about five years.
He narrated that during those times, he had no one to show him love especially those who claim to be his loved ones failed to demonstrate their true love for him by sticking with him during his darkest hours.
He recounted that his late mother used to have a friend named Maame Yen Do Wo and as a child, he has always wondered why the woman was given such a name.
However, when he got sic for five good years, he understand the meaning of the woman’s name and the message that comes along with it. He added that people will always profess their affections but none will be willing to lay down for you when push comes to shove.
DL further intimated that people will always come around you and show all manner of affection and support for you but the moment you encounter trouble that you would need their assistance and love badly, they would abandon you and this is a clear proof that people do not really love you as they claim they do.
