“I thought it was that simple but after venturing into it, I realized that in politics to contest an election is not easy. I don’t know if it is easy in some other countries but in Ghana, it is not easy. But then I strife on and decided that I am not quitting…I am actually not a quitter”, she revealed.

When asked why she entered politics in the first place, the former National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency in the Central Region stated she wanted to be a voice for the people and an enthusiast for progress.

“Looking at where I come from we are very pathetic. We do not have a mouthpiece and leadership to champion our course, unlike other constituencies where there is good leadership that go into government and bring development to their area. We lag behind in so many areas so I challenged myself that instead of sitting and complaining why don’t I present myself because those doing it aren’t better than me. I am even much better than them”, she added.

Here is what she said whether she has now a wavering perception on becoming an MP, “the same reasons I want to go into politics still persist. I have seen I cannot quit I have to still pursue. I will go again and I know this time around I am going to win. In 2023 NDC will conduct its primaries and I will file”
