Outspoken social media icon, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, well known as Afia Schwarzenegger during a meeting between the Inspector General of Police(IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, and the Creative Arts Industry stated that she had to silence the President of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), Rex Omar.

Yesterday, a meeting was arranged between Ghanaian entertainers and the Ghana Police Service to discuss issues regarding the Creative Industry adhering to the laws of the land.

The occasion saw some of the well-known personalities in the entertainment industry like Samini, Van Vicker, Afia Schwarzenegger, Kwame A-Plus, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kidi, Agya Koo, and other entertainment personalities in Ghana.

Well, Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed that during the meeting she had to ask Rex Omar to shut up because his submissions were not making sense to her, adding that they were invited by the police and not Rex Omar.

She said; Yes I was warning Rex Omar to shut up…It was the police that invited us not him….How dare him

In other related news, Afia Schwarzenegger has stated that the police cannot be trusted these days even though they claim of being a friend to everyone in the country.

She made this statement shortly after two of Ghana’s biggest musicians, Shatta Wale and Medikal was put behind bars for their offenses. Shatta Wale was arrested for pulling a publicity stunt about a shooting incident. He was arraigned and remanded into police custody for one week and was later granted bail of GHc100,000.

Medical was also arraigned before the court after he was accused of brandishing a gun in a viral video on social media. He was remanded into police custody and later granted bail of GHc100,000 with one surety.
