Prominent Ghanaian Highlife/Afropop singer, Peter Fameyeh Bozah, widely known as Fameye has recounted how he used to collect garbage from people’s houses just to make a living.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz segment, Fameye revealed that he used to go from house to house around Ashoman Estate to collect people’s garbage and get paid to sustain his life.

Fameye revealed that he also used to weed people homes and plant grasses in their compounds for a living. He added that he also used to sell ice cream before going to school in the afternoon.

He also recounted that he once worked in his girlfriend’s family house as a gardener. The journey according to the singer has been tough and very adventurous given the adversities and processes he had to pass through in order to arrive at his current destination.

Fameye also added that most people might see his success as a normal event which eventually happens to everyone but he knows what he has been through and the challenges he had to face as a hustler before music swooped in and ushered him to greatness.

In other news, promising Ghanaian rap sensation, Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu, popularly known in the music scene as Lasmid has rendered an apology to Ghanaians for claiming he is the biggest artiste in Ghana at the moment.

Lasmid in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM claimed he was the biggest artiste in the country at the moment. He revealed that since he has the biggest and more popular song, “Friday Night”, he happens to be the biggest musician in the country.

His boastful claims did not side so well with some Ghanaians are they lambasted him for what most would describe as an act of disrespect for his predecessors in the music game.

Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, Lasmid rendered an apology to the Ghanaians who found his claims disrespectful and boastful.

According to him, people did not really side with him on that because they lacked the understanding and took his comments out of contest but he only wanted to make a valid point to his colleagues and fans.
