Popular Kumawood comic actor Alex Kofi Adu Mensah known well as Agya Koo has revealed why he had to quit shooting movie scenes at night.
According to the legendary actor, he stopped night scenes in movies because he was gradually losing his sight. This revelation from Agya Koo is new as it collides with some reports from some movie producers and directors.

Some movie producers and directors have complained severally in interviews why Agya Koo quit shooting movies. While some say he was arrogant, others also said he had the perception that he had no competitor in the movie industry.
Responding to the claims about him, Agya Koo in an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM Entertainment show hosted by Ike De Unpredictable said, “
“I stopped shooting night scenes in a movie because I was going blind. The light used to shoot night scenes was affecting my eyes and it gave me some eye problems”.

“I told the producers what I’m going through so they should try to help me and remove night scenes from my scenes when shooting movies to help me protect my eyes”.
“I leave everything to God because it seems people always get me wrong when I speak the truth but God will surely fight for me. One day the truth will come out and the world will know the bad treatment I received from some producers” Agya Koo disclosed.
