Ghanaian Highlife/ Hiplife musician Kidi has revealed he was in high hopes of winning many awards at the night of the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards last weekend.

Kidi stated that he made up his mind before the night that he will have some positive vibes at the night because he was so nervous about the whole award night.
He added the ‘I will be back’ comments came through his mind when he first won the first two categories he was nominated in. It was then that he released he was so much motivated with how he started at the night.
Responding to a question by Andy Dosty that was he angry when he was leaving the Accra International Conference Center auditorium when Diana Hamilton was declared as the Artiste of the Year, Kidi stated he was just disappointed but was not angry.
He added that although he had wish he had win the ultimate award of the night, he knew each other nominee in that category deserved that award as much as he also deserved it as well, so just felt disappointed when he couldn’t win the award.
Recall Kidi was the highly favorite by social media users and many top pundits to win the Artiste of the Year at the just ended 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but fell out to Mrs. Diana Hamilton who won the award at the next.
