For any popular personality, especially those in the showbiz industry, impersonation has been a tough and painful ‘boil’ they have to deal with.
In a recent interview on Hitz FM, Ghanaian actor Adjetey Annang, popularly known as ‘Pusher’, has explained why he is hasn’t been on Facebook for a while.
“…, I’m off Facebook because of impersonation. I was actually invited for questioning by the cyber-crime office of the Ghana Police Service because a lady has reported that she has been duped by me”, he said.
He claims he has encountered such situation three times so he had to leave Facebook for a while and since then he hasn’t returned.
Asked by the host Andy Dosty that what was the reaction of people on the said issue, to which he said some people who didn’t know him well believed the lady, but he claimed that most people didn’t believe he had done that.
Although is not on Facebook, he claimed to be on Twitter, to which the host asked him about what he does when he is being trolled, and he said he actually analysis the trolls to see both sides of it.
Asked if the culprit of the duping scandal was arrested, he said yes, with the help of the police the culprit was arrested. He revealed that the culprit was then a first year student in one of the universities.
