Ghanaian singer, Dennis Nana Dwamena, well known as Kidi has revealed that he was never angry when he lost the Artiste of the year award to Diana Hamilton.

According to him, he believed that everyone who got nominated in that particular category deserved to win and despite the fact that he had high hopes in winning the award and got disappointed, he was never angry.
Speaking with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM, Kidi stated that he was disappointed after Diana Hamilton was announced as the winner but he had no other option than to give her a standing ovation as she walked up to the stage to take her award.
“There was no anger, it was disappointment but not anger. Disappointed that as human as you are, if you hope for something and you don’t get it, it is human to be disappointed”,
“Even after they mentioned the winner I was still taking pictures with people. If I bore aa like anybody wey go take ein phone come my front I go spoil am”, he added.
On the same show, Kidi revealed he was in high hopes of winning many awards at the night of the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards last weekend.
Kidi stated that he made up his mind before the night that he will have some positive vibes the night because he was so nervous about the whole award night.
