Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Mercy Twum-Ampofo who is also known in showbiz as Ohemaa Mercy has shared her thoughts about collaborating with secular musicians.

Her comments come after some gospel musicians have been chastised for collaborating with secular musicians with the latest one being Celestine Donkor who featured Efya and Akwaboah on her new song.

According to Ohemaa Mercy, she will willing collaborate with any secular artiste only when God gives her direction to do so.

She made this known in a recent interview she had with popular Ghanaian radio show host, Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

In her submission, she said;

“I will work with secular artistes when God gives me the direction. There are so many ways God directs people to go and work somewhere. God lives in us. Not outward.”

In another interview she had with Ghanaian celebrity blogger, ZionFelix, she recounted how she had to endure hard times at some point in her life.

She said in the interview that had it not been a good Samaritan who paid for her bills when she gave birth to her child some years ago, she wouldn’t have known what would have happened to her.
