Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has shared his thoughts on how things are going in Ghana.

According to him, he won’t say the government has failed, however, there are things that he feels could have been done better.

He made this known in a recent interview he had on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM and this comes after he publicly decl ared his support for the president, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in the build-up to the 2020 elections.

In his submission, he said;

“I thought Free SHS was something to commend but it ended up being crap in people’s eyes. I am going through hard times. Very difficult times.

I won’t say the government has failed but I think things can be done better. People are saying exactly what they are feeling. They are going through the situation. They are not trees.

Free SHS was Nana Addo’s big conversation and it is happening as we speak.”

He also shared his thoughts on what people think about him and his music, and in that regard, he said;

“I will always be vocal for the people. In end, whatever conversation I make, it will be in the interest of the people. I speak for the people. It may look as if I am speaking for someone but that’s not the case.

I think people care about my music than anything else that has to do with me. They don’t care about my money or my clothes.”
