The former captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Asamoah Jet also known as Baby Jet has said that he’ll love to become the coach for the strikers of the Black Stars team.

Asamoah has been in the headlines for a few days following the launch of his book which has been slated for the 30th of April, 2022.

The 36-year-old footballer who has been playing for the national team for over a decade and a half has shown interest in becoming a strikers’ coach in order to help train the other players on the team.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Asaase radio, Asamoah Gyan stated that dropping players who tried hard for the team to qualify for the world cup is unfair. Gyan emphasized that any new player who will be selected for the world cup qualifiers must prove their worth and be better than the old team members.

“I’d like to handle the Black Stars as a strikers coach but everything takes time. First, I need to work on my coaching course, and I’m due to begin in June or July after that, we’ll see”, he told the host.
