Tema-based rapper and one of Ghana’s best lyricists, Yaa Pono has revealed that he will accept any offer from his antagonist Shatta Wale in a joint project.
The Uptown Energy boss Yaa Pono had gruelling feud with the Dancehall King some few months ago so this statement from him might come as a surprise to their respective fans.
Speaking on Hitz FM, Yaa Pono said, “If Shatta Wale invites me for a feature, I will accept but I will have to listen to the song first. When you want to feature someone, the person needs to listen to the music first. I don’t know now but whoever brings it to me, I don’t care.
It’s all about music. I don’t have a choice. I don’t compare rappers. We all make the system [Entertainment industry] to move higher. If it’s good for us, i jump on it. If not, then no. it’s the vibe that matters.”
