Shatta Wale’s exclusion from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) continue to divide opinions and although the musician has publicly apologized to the organizers, he is yet to be considered.

Sony Achiba, one of the pioneers of Hiplife whose style was well accepted way back, has spoken to reporters from UK where he is based and has given his own opinion about the matter.

The musician, who is also well known for his dancing skills has said he will embark on a demonstration for one month if the Dancehall musician is not reinstated.

He said:

“Tell Charter House to sit down with Shatta Wale and resolve the problem, because this is not personal music awards. This is Ghana Music Awards.

I’ve never heard anywhere in the world when we have music that is trending, you can’t kick the artiste out because you have a personal problem with him.

Maybe I have to do one month demonstration against them. What they are doing is very bad. I say I will go on one month demonstration against them.”

What do you think?
