Ghanaian entertainment critic, Mr. Logic has also shared his thought about the government’s decision to seek a bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He reacted to this latest development of the government seeking a bailout during his submission on Hitz FM’s popular Saturday show, Matter Dey.

In his submission, he said;

“For my research, Ghana has had a clean credit with the IMF. Therefore they were not expected to go back to the agency for money.

You can’t say you won’t pay the E-levy. The system is built in a way that you will pay. I am paying the E-levy painfully. I am waiting for the government to be held accountable for the PR they attached to the E-levy.

We are all economists in our homes – how my children eat, what they eat, all of that. If you look at Ghana, you would ask yourself: why are we even going to the IMF? Where all the money dey pass?

The government needs to cut down its expenditure.”
