Celebrated Ghanaian actor and celebrity Prince David Osei has revealed that even though he has a soft spot for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), he will prefer to endorse and campaign for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the event that they elect the Speaker of Parliament Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin or minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu as party flag-bearer in the 2024 elections.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Pure FM and monitored by Ghgossip.com, the renowned actor announced that the Hon. Alban Bagbin and Haruna Iddrisu have what is needed to run the affairs of the country and he believes ex-Prez Mahama has done his best and needs to give others a chance to function and move Ghana forward for the collective interest of all.

He indicated that if any of them are elected to be the NDC flag bearer, he will have no difficulty campaigning for the party as in the end, it is Ghana that we all want to see triumph.
“Excellence has no gender or party colors. If you are good, you are good. I feel like people at the NDC should give people like Haruna Iddrisu and Alban Bagbin the space to operate and show what they are made of, one person does not know everything.
They have been there and they have and their records reflect their competence. “
“There is nothing wrong with working with the other party, even if I don’t traditionally belong.
No matter where or who the person comes from, if they are on the right track, we must support them. We all want Ghana to be successful, “he added.
Prince David Osei endorsed NPP President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 general election and openly campaigned for him.
