Ghana’s legendary rapper, Sarkodie has vowed to give a helping hand to up-and-coming artistes, (popularly called underground musicians in Ghana) to attain a higher pedestal in the music industry.
The rapper, who had it extremely tough as a budding musician, wants to use his experience and resources at his disposal to give a chance to some of these young guys coming up in the industry with no financial means to break into the mainstream.
Sarkodie however made it clear that his support might not guarantee the feat that the up and coming artistes desire to achieve.
The multiple award-winning artiste made this heartwarming message on his social media account. He wrote:
I really wanna throw some light on dope Mcees underground trying to make it
… I might not be able to make you the superstar that you are but at least I can showcase your craft to the lil numbers I’ve acquired over the years and you can take it from there
