I'll Prefer To Be Called 'Ashawo' Than To Be In Abusive Relationship

Ghanaian Slay Queen and media personality Afia Schwarzenegger has stated that she will prefer prostitution to being in an abusive relationship.

She afia , indicated that she was tired and could not bear the abuse of a man she married and since then she has been preaching “leaving to live” to women in Ghana and around the world.

With recent events in which some women have been beaten to death by their husbands, Afia Schwarzenegger has begun her advocacy work by asking women in abusive marriages and relationships to leave their men and live freely.

She acknowledges that women who leave their marriage are mostly insulted, but she would rather succumb to the insults than remain in an abusive relationship.

“I’d rather be called a prostitute than stay in an abusive relationship. I’d rather be a prostitute than a dead wife, ”she said in a video shared on her social media platforms.
