The actor earlier told Zionfelix in an interview in 2019 that he does not believe that Jesus Christ came to die to save everyone in the whole world from sin. He said that many people in Ghana have allowed themselves to believe theories and mythical stories that have no iota of truth.

According to him, Jesus Christ did not come to die for the whole world as many are made to believe but he came for the Israelites and not any other group of people or country.

He said that most Ghanaians who claim to be Christians have gone contrary to the words in the Bible, claiming to be Christians. He said that the Bible frowns on praying in public or helping the needy in public yet most Christians do them.

Well, speaking in a fresh interview with Zionfelix, Sly intimated that he was made to apologize and retract some of the statements he made against Christians because it is a group of people, hence any utterances made to defame their beliefs will be meted with harsh criticism.

He further stated that he has never been part of the Christmas celebrations but he only enjoys the December holidays. He stated that Christians have been made to believe that Christmas represents the birthday of Jesus Christ but to him, their theory has nothing to do with the celebration.
