Kuame Eugene has shared an emotional story about his journey from obscurity to stardom in a new interview.

The musician, who’s currently making waves all over Ghana with his hit song Angela said he faced lots of difficulties prior to hitting the limelight.

He said at a point in time people discouraged him not to pursue music whilst others told him that he was disturbing them with noise whenever he was rehearsing as an underground artiste.

He said:

You must learn not to give up; today the same people who told me I was disturbing their ears when I was rehearsing are now my hardest fans.’

According to Kuami Eugene, he is working hard to ensure that he becomes one of Ghana’s best musicians. He believes that whoever wants to do music must either do it well or not start at all.

He added:

To be successful in music, it’s either you do and do it well or you don’t start at all otherwise you waste your own time. I know some people who have been underground artistes for over 6 years. I was with them; but now I’m popular musician, I give all glory to God.
