The newest sensation in the Ghanaian music industry, Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel, widely known in the music scene as Lasmid has blown his own horn, claiming to be the biggest artiste in Ghana at the moment.

Speaking in an interview with the media personality, Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5FM, Lasmid stated that he would agree with the numerous assertions that he happens to be the biggest music star in the country at the moment.
Lasmid stated that he happens to be the originator of the newest jam in the country which makes him the biggest artiste in the country as it stands now.
However, he mentioned that he wouldn’t want to dispute anyone’s claim or belittle his colleagues just because he has a hit song, but he knows he is the biggest and most viral musician in Ghana at the moment and hopefully with time, someone else will also become the biggest after they also bring up a new jam.
As a reminder, Lasmid has the biggest jam in the country at the moment titled “Friday Night”. The song has trended on all digital streaming platforms for days and continues to achieve new achievements as the day goes by.

In other news, ace Ghanaian Highlife musician, Akwasi Opoku, well known in the music scene as Kwaisey Pee has recounted his journey on how he discovered his musical talent when he was just a kid.
Speaking in an interview with the ace broadcaster, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana on the “Atuu: segment on UTV, Kwaisey Pee intimated that his father had always wanted him to become a footballer and he was enrolled in training at a tender age.
He stated that even though his father was a musician, he never believed that any of his children will grow up to become musicians like him, hence when he started developing an interest in music, his father was agitated by that dream of his to become a musician.
Among his four siblings, there happen to be only two musicians; himself and his brother, Criss Waddle and the rest are handling their own businesses.
