On Tuesday, November 9, Kenyan Party Leader Raila Odinga has given reasons why males should give women utmost respect.
During a meeting with Lower Eastern leaders at Chungwa House, the Orange Democratic Movement party head remarked that men work for only 1 second during reproduction but women go through a lot of difficulties for 9 months.
Women, he believes, need the greatest respect and care because they are the givers of life. According to Odinga,
“A woman is a human being like you, they have also been born like you. If your mother was not there you couldn’t have been born. There is no one in this world who was begotten by just a man.
“In procreation, a man’s work only takes one second while women carry the burden for 9 months. They go through sickness during the pregnancy and later have to lactate the baby after delivery. We must therefore respect women.”
In other news, a nurse identified as Baby Nurse has taken to the microblogging platform to share her experience with a patient who she couldn’t penetrate his skin with a needle.
According to her, all efforts to inject the patient with the needle proved futile that she had to share her challenge with her superior. Upon careful analysis, it was determined that the man had “fortified his body” so that no metal, whether knives, or bullets cannot penetrate the skin.
Baby Nurse revealed that this was her first experience with such things she never believed ever existed. More encounters where shared by other nurses on the bird app.
