Indian Police Service have placed two Nigerian students behind bars, awaiting trial for illegal drug possession and peddling of 21grams of cocaine at Apex Circle in Malviya Nagar.

According to Naijapals.com, the two young men namely Abbas(23) and Ibrahim(29) travelled to India to further their education. Ibrahim moved to India from Nigeria (Kano State) in 2015 to study pharmacy and graduated in 2019. Abbas, on the other hand, moved to india from Nigeria (Ajaro) as a student but dropped out from school after two semesters.

According to the police who arrested them, the duo were under heavy surveillance for months outside their perimeter. Investigation led to the discovery that they were drug pushers for another agent who is also said to be a Nigerian. Arrangements have been made to arrest him as well.
