The ‘man insane’ Kwaw Kese has said in a fresh interview that it’s simply senseless for artists to to pay their fans to vote for them to in order to win an award and we agree wholeheartedly. The rapper said this in an exclusive interview with Fiifi Pratt on Highlife paradise on Rainbow Radio.

Kwaw, who has been highly critical of award schemes in the country especially the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, said in any case artistes should allow fans to willingly vote from their heart instead of sponsoring them to vote for them. According to him, musicians in Ghana must stop buying credit for their fans to vote for them.

The ‘Odeim’ hitmaker further added that the awards in Ghana are have no value because they are just plaques and nothing else, hence upcoming musicians should concentrate on their career and stop depending on awards to stay relevant.
