Female Ghanaian Highlife Sister Afia has debunked the rumors of having an affair with Ghanaian Dancehall musician Shatta Wale during the early stages of her music career.

She said the only affair that went on between her and Shatta Wale was friendship and on a work basis and that there was no sexual affair that went on between them.

She stated she got close to the Dancehall musician because of her love for music and Shatta Wale also opened his doors for her because he realized she has a great talent and also understand the art of music.

In an interview this morning with Andy Dosty on the Hitz FM’s ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show, Sister Afia stated she was desperate to put her works out there and make Ghanaians realized her unique talent during the beginning of her career.

She continued she has to follow Shatta Wale to every show he was booked on just to perform her ‘Jeje’ song with him. She said she made herself available to be with the Dancehall musician on every stage because of her works.

Sister Afia added she even on one event had to travel to the United Kingdom on her own just to perform with Shatta Wale at the Ghana Music Awards UK when she realized the ‘My Level’ hitmaker was billed to perform at the event.
