Last year, the Lynx Entertainment signee emerged as the winner in the artiste of the year category at the VGMA.

Well, as some of his fans were happy for him, others also believed that Kuami Eugene did not deserve the prestigious award for some reasons better known to them.

Fast forward, Kuami Eugene described his critics as haters and hypocrites who will jam to his music at events yet describe them as senseless and stolen songs.

Speaking in an interview with KMJ, Kuami Eugene revealed that it is highly possible for him to win the overall artiste of the year this year. He said it wouldn’t be much of a news should that happen for the second time.

According to him, he has released hits upon hits and also collaborated on some of the hit tunes Ghanaian are enjoying at the moment.

He also said that he has been able to play a few shows despite the fact that the outbreak of COVID prevented most artistes from doing the same.

Let’s not forget, his album, Son of Africa is also doing very well on the market, according to Rockstar. It is at the back of all these that Kuami Eugene is saying it won’t be bad news if he emerges as the Artiste of the year again this year.
