The leader and founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries Nicholas Osei well known as Kumchacha has shared a piece of advice with people stuck in toxic and abusive relationships or marriages.
In the year 2021, there were reports on the news about how some women lost their lives due to abusive relationships. There are people who have fallen victims to abusive marriages and relationships. While some have lost their lives in the process, others have been damaged beyond repairs.

In a radio discussion on an Accra-based station, Kingdom FM Plus, Prophet Kumchacha emphasized that it is better to stay single than subject yourself to torture in an abusive marriage or relationship.
Speaking on the issue of women living in abusive relationships, the man of God said he always advises his church members going through torture in their marriages to flee.
“A woman told me that every week her husband pulls a pistol on her and threatens to shoot her and the kids. The woman has 4 kids with the man. When the woman told me about this, I told her to report it to the police so that her husband will be arrested. She said her husband has threatened to kill her and the kids on several occasions. The man would have eventually killed her and the kids so I did the right thing by reporting the case to the police. God will even give an award for this move for destroying that marriage”, he told Fiifi Pratt the host on Kingdom Plus.
The man of God shared a bit of advice to the public about abusive marriages. He emphasized that the best thing for a person in an abusive relationship is to flee.
