Ghanaian songstress, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, affectionately known as Mzvee has lamented on how difficult it is for an artiste to come out with an album.

Speaking in a recent interview with JoyNews’ Becky, the award-winning singer who launched her solo career with her debut single ‘Borkor Borkor’ has five albums to her credit stated that it takes a lot of hard work and consistency for a musician to come out with such masterpiece.

“It’s crazy, it’s not easy to come up with an album. There’s so much work around it,” MzVee said.

Touching on her latest album “10:30” which was released on June 24th 2022 , Mzvee stated that the album marks a new chapter in her life and music career wince she has been in the game for ten years and also turned thirty recently.

“It’s like a new chapter of my life. I’m ten years in the music industry and I just turned thirty years old. So new chapters were shifting from what was old“, she added.

In other news, Mzvee has lamented about the adversities involved in being a female musician in Ghana.

During an interview on the Uncut Show with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix, Mzvee stated that it is very tough for female musicians to make it to the limelight in their music career given the nature of the Ghanaian music industry.

She revealed that there are a few female musicians in Ghana and even out of that, only a few have been able to make it in the music industry.

She disclosed that it has been ten years in the music scene and even after parting ways with her former record label, Lynx Entertainment, she still manages to break through, grab nominations and win some awards on various platforms.

The “Come and See My Moda” hitmaker also added that she needs not to involve herself in any kind of controversy to project her music craft because she still reigns as one of the best female musicians in Ghana.
