‘It’s Only a Matter of Time’ – Sarkodie Goes Hard On Nana Addo – Ghanaian musician, Michael Owusu Addo who is widely known as Sarkodie has taken to social media to address some of the issues going on in the country.

It could be recalled that some Ghanaians have stormed the streets to demand accountability from the government, and some of these people have been molested by security personnel.

These situations have garnered massive uproar from some top Ghanaian celebrities, and the latest to share his concern is Sarkodie.

In his post, Sarkodie hit out at the president saying Ghanaians are suffering and it is not that they enjoy hitting the street just for fun, but rather because of what they are going through.

The post that he made reads;

“Main reason for this demonstration @NAkufoAddo is to let you know the people ( citizens ) are suffocating in hardship! It’s easy to overlook since most of government officials are no where close to the situation on the ground! It’s a Bully when you starve someone and still ask them to follow “Rules” it’s only a matter of time”

This comes after Sarkodie was lambasted by Ghanaians for favoring the ruling party and ignoring every bad thing that they are doing. Many Ghanaians believe that the musician is a sympathizer of the ruling party because during the John Mahama administration, Sarkodie was one of the vocal people who lashed out to the government for their mishaps.

Some reactions from Ghanaians who saw Sarkodie’s post are;

@calebeshun – Meaning Nana Addo wo last warning…I will drop a track for you soon

@goldendust17 – Landlord has spoken now and you guys still want him to put in a song. When he does you’ll want him to go to streets when he goes to the streets you’ll want him to take his daughter along 🤦‍♂️

@GhConcra – This is not Enough Obidi. Since you couldn’t join the protest, I want you to enter the studio and drop a diss song for Modern Day Zacchaeus like u did to Mahama.
