Veteran highlife musician, Akosua Agyapong has noted that the death of Former President Jerry John Rawlings has shocked her bones as she never expected it.

She explained that Rawlings helped the creative arts industry by projecting Ghanaian songs due to the love he had for music.

She stated that his death has shocked the whole country it’s also a great loss to people in the Creative arts especially the musicians.

Akosua Agyapong speaking in an interview on Rainbow Radio with DJ Splash she added that the late president contributed immensely to throw success of musicians in the country.

According to her, Rawlings was a strong president who loved music despite not being a saint he acted like a man.

The ace musician however promised to honor him with a song and also prayed that God should grant the wife strength as he passes through the difficult times.
