Prominent Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known in showbiz scenes as Shatta Wale has described the former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama as the president for the youth.

Speaking in an interview on JoyFM’s Showbiz A-Z segment, the Shatta Movement emperor intimated that the former president worked hard and did everything in his power to cushion the lives of the youth in Ghana.

Shatta Wale intimated that the ex-president during his tenure as the president of the country laid down structures and measures to ensure that the youth in the country survives.

He also mentioned that he was getting some opportunities and privileges from the president during his tenure as resident of the republic.

“Mahama when he was in power was doing everything for every youth to survive. I was getting opportunities from the presidency”, he said.

Shatta Wale also revealed that he was not the only musician in Ghana benefitting from the generosity of the ex-president, hence he pleads with the youth in the country to vote him back into power in the 2024 general elections.

He added that he believes that John Dramani Mahama and his National Democratic Congress(NDC) has the means and knowledge to revive the country’s economy.
