One of the malices Ghanaians are facing currently is the incident of Mobile Money(MoMo) fraud.

These fraudsters have established several ways to dupe innocent customers of their hard-earned money.

One of the latest victims is Juliana Ofusuhene of Miss Malaika 2019 fame and according to her, she was scammed GHC 1,700.

In a recent post she made on social media, she shared how she was scammed by MTN Mobile Money fraudsters who used their new tactics to beat her.

In her post, she indicated that MoMo is no longer safe even though IDs now needed before cashouts can be made.

Sharing some screenshots, she wrote;

“MUST READ…. I was scammed yesterday and I think it’s right I share so y’all will be extra careful… New Strategy they use! Kindly go through . @mtnghana”

After sharing the screenshot, she shared an advice saying;

“S y’all be careful out there, I didn’t post this for you to sit and thing I’m dumb or something and I should have known…. once it happened to me? It can happen to some else too, tell your friends and family members about it… peace out.”

As they develop new tactics, the telcos have beefed up their awareness adverts so as to eradicate instances where people are duped.
