A top Nigerian journalist and YouTuber has begged Ghana’s undisputed rap King, Sarkodie to spare just five minutes of his time for an exclusive interview session.

Tobe while having a discussion on a Podcast with another Nigerian pundit called Kelly and a Ghanaian, Kojo compared and contrasted Sarkodie and Nigeria’s MI Abaga in a ‘Versus’ challenge.

They then arranged five viral songs of the aforementioned artiste each to deduce who has more flow and could win the versus challenge any day at any given time. Tobe in his view labeled Sarkodie as a top-notch artiste whose style of rap defies logic.

For this reason, he requested to have a one on one with in exclusive chat in order to decipher his ingenuity. Tobe blurted out, albeit on a lighter note with an element of eulogy saying;

‘Sarkodie, we don’t know you, and you also don’t know us. Please if you are watching us, we need only 5 minutes interview with you, we want to know what goes into your mind when rapp ing, we want to check your mental health.’

Elsewhere, Ghanaian Afrobeat star King Promise is reveling in his new musical chapter after he collaborated with American rapper Chance The Rapper.

Recall that the American rapper arrived in Ghana a few days ago after which he met M.anifest and Sarkodie, two of Ghana’s best rappers and by far on the African continent- thereby sparking collaborations rumours.

It appeared Afrobeat star King Promise also had a slice of Chance’s cake after he told Berla Mundi on TV3’s New Dawn that he had the opportunity to meet him through Vic Mensah when they arrived in Ghana.

“When Chance came, I got the phone call that we should meet. I was out of town but linked up immediately after I got back. Vic introduced me to Chance. We made a song that night, but we have a lot we are working on, he explained.

King Promise disclosed that he never thought he would be working with Chance the Rapper. “I’m not gonna lie. I never thought I could work with him. I’m a fan of his and love his music, but I didn’t know we could meet up one day. We made some sick stuff. There are so many great prospects coming in the pipeline,” he said.
