Former Highly Spiritual Music signed musician, Kelvin Agyekum, well known as Kurl Songx has eulogized his former boss, David Kojo Kyei, well known as Kaywa for his mentorship and guidance at the beginning of his music career.

During an interview on the Ekwansodwodwo segment on Okay FM with Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, Kurl Songx stated that Kaywa offered him that ladder that ushered him to greatness at the beginning of his music career.

He described his former boss as a blessing to his life and music career and he is the sole reason why he was able to breakthrough the music scene with his first hit song “Jennifer Lomotey”.

“He’s the reason why I am here today and he is the ladder in my life, like an angel God brought into my life. He’s been the ladder in my life that everywhere I go I put that ladder down and climb and all I would say is God bless him”,

he said.

However, Kurl Songx admitted that he once wronged his former boss and he accepted the punishments his actions were meted with but at long last things have fallen into place.

In other news, Ghanaian Afrobeat/Hiplife musician, Jackeline Acheampong, well known in the entertainment scene as Gyakie has asked people never to be comfortable with the validation they receive from people.

In a tweet. the promising songstress stated that validation happens to be a bad drug even though we require such gestures to motivate ourselves to do more.

She stated that people should not get too addicted by the validations of people probably because they might get disappointed when the situation turns around and doesn’t favor them.
