A 36-year-old man identified as Dan Otieno has reportedly been apprehended by the police after he allegedly attempted to have carnal knowledge of his own mother.

The incident was said to have happened at Karao village, Kombewa division Seme Sub-county within Kisumu county where one Caleb Okuom was informed by one of the village managers, Martin Omware of the bizarre incident.
According to Caleb, he was informed by Martin that the suspect, Dan arrived home very drunk and assaulted his mother, and also tried raping her.
“The accused arrived home while drunk then he started assaulting his mother and attacking her with an intention of r*ping her”, he said.
Caleb who also happens to be the area chief immediately mobilized some elders in the community and arrested the suspect and handed him over to the Kombewa police station.
Area OCPD Hellen Rotich told K24TV that Dan Otieno was detained at that Kombewa police station and was arraigned before the Kisumu court in Kenya.
