Gospel singer and the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Award Artiste of the Year Mrs. Diana Hamilton has commended Hiplife/ Highlife musician Kidi for being such a gentleman at the just ended VGMAs.

She said she commend the ‘Golden Boy’ for congratulating her by giving her a standing ovation after she beat him to the the ultimate Artiste of the Year at the 22nd VGMAs that took place at the Accra International Conference Center last Saturday.
Recall many social media users and pundits picked Kidi as the highly favorite to win the Artiste pf the Year award this year but Mrs. Diana Hamilton pulled up a surprise by beating Kidi to it.
Reacting to a question posed to her by Andy Dosty, the host of ‘Day Break Hitz’ on Accra based Hitz FM this morning that she has seen the allegations on social media that Kidi stormed out from the AICC after she was announced as the winner of the award, Mrs. Diana Hamilton stated she doesn’t believe that because she has seen videos where Kidi was standing and applauding her when she took the stage to claim the award.
She also stated that she has seen a viral tweet from Kidi congratulating her for the achievement last night.
Mrs. Diana Hamilton made history last Saturday by becoming the first Gospel artiste to win the Vodafone Most Popular song of the year and the first female Gospel musician to win the Artiste of the Year award.
