VGMA Artiste of The Year KiDi has shared how hurtful the statement that ‘he wins awards at VGMA because his label boss Richie is on the board’ is whenever he hears that.
KiDi won the VGMA Artiste of The Year last Saturday and reacting to how he feels in an interview, he expressed his dislike when people credit his hard work to the fact that his label boss Richie is a member of the VGMA Board.
According to him, after every VGMA, when he wins an award, people take to social media to claim he won the award because his boss Richie is on the board and that statement hurts him so much whenever he sees that.

It’s hurtful that all his hard work isn’t seen and credited/appreciated as most people think he is winning awards at VGMA not because of his hard work but because his boss is a board member and that will hurt anyone in his shoes.
It’s normal that KiDi gets hurt by that statement because it’s not easy to be an artist who is consistent and does great when it comes to music to see his work is attributed to the fact that he knows someone somewhere
