Ghanaian musician, Gregory Bortey Newman who is known as King Promise in showbiz has indicated that he would be celebrating his upcoming birthday with 100 fans.
The award-winning musician made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
The post that he made reads;
“My birthday on Tuesday . I wanna spend it with 100 of my fans performing my new album first time for y’all ..my little way of saying thank you for the love & Support ..”
Meanwhile, King Promise has joined the conversation of whether TikTok is helping musicians and said anyone who thinks TikTok
According to him, you might be a fool to think that TikTok is not part of marketing music since that has become the new norm and most songs go viral on that platform hence artists are urged to see TikTok as a promoting app for their music.
The issue of TikTok being a promotional tool for music varies but we agree with King Promise that it’s part of marketing your music as an artist hence it will be wise if our artists see it as a promotional tool and not just an app to have fun.
