Former Sports Minister and Member of parliament for Odododiodoo Constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vandepuye has expressed interest in having Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter, Kofi Kinaata as an in-law.
Speaking at an interview on JoyNews’ PM Express Personality Profile, Mr. Nii Lante Vandepuye, a music enthusiast mentioned the Kofi Kinaat as his favourite since he left the camps of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

According to him, his song ‘Behind The Scene’ changed his perspective and made him fall in love with him and his art. He sighted his lyrics and the fact that he is from the coastal area as the most reason he finds the singer the best man for his daughter.
“I am willing to offer my third daughter to Kinaata when he is ready to marry just because of this song which I love so much.
“He has a great lyrical prowess and I just love his Fante too as someone married from that part of the country,”
