The 2018 edition of the Made In Taadi Annual Concert has officially been launched.

This year’s edition is scheduled to take place at the Jubilee Park on Saturday 22nd December 2018. 

In a Press conference held at the Anaji Choice Mart, the Public Relation Officer for Made In Taadi Concert, Nana Kwesi Koomson gave detailed out how the event will unfold.

The Event, to make it more fun and interactive has been put in two parts.

First Part dubbed Family Day Out will commence at 10 am and ends at 5 pm on 22nd December. This part of the program will be for kids and their family. There will be lots of interesting kids activities including bouncy castles, line and spoon competition, among others.

Nevertheless, there will be exhibition books that will display the culture, and narrate the history of the Western Region. Resource Personnel’s will be available to talk on; Planning your study and social life, how to start a business at an early stage, how to have a personal timetable, etc.

This part of the concert will be graced by comedian Funny Face, award-winning Dj Switch and Samuel Owusu of talented kids.

There will also be a handwritten Fante essay competition by students from upper primary to junior high school on the subject, ‘Me Sekondi Takoradze’ (My Secondi Takoradi). This will be fun!! Winner gets a cash prize and other packages from Team Move Management. To take part scan your handwritten essay and email it to essay_nit@gmail.com.

Also, parents and guardians will also engage in cooking competition with Teachers and also interact with Kofi Kinaata and other celebrities present.

The Second Part of the Made In Taadi Concert will be performances from both A list Artiste and Local based Artist.

The concert is said to feature Kofi Kinaata, Kwesi Arthur, Donzy, Edem, Pastor Joe Beachem, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Ras Kuuku, DopeNation and 10 Westside Legacy Artist. 

A report has it that DJ Page and Dj Kenny The Gradmaster and other Dj’s are yet to be confirmed to be on a rotation to make the Concert an energetic one.

MC’s to grace the concert are, Yoofi Eyeson, Too Much Junka Town, PM (Nana Qwesi Wusu), and Maame Esi Forson.

On security, the Western Regional Police Commander DCOP/Mr Vincent Redeemer Dedjoe has been duly informed and assurance has been given for full security presence. Just like that of last year, the military will be available for this years edition as well.
